Facts

The “Let’s Net” training, hosted in Luxembourg, brought together 16 participants from around the world for an intensive ten-day programme focused on emergency connectivity solutions. Luxembourg, through emergency.lu, provided comprehensive logistical support, including training facilities, accommodation, and coordination, in addition to contributing equipment alongside Ericsson Response.

The course equips humanitarian staff with the practical skills and tools required to deploy, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and decommission the ETC Rapid Response Data Solution in emergency and field environments. Working in team-based scenarios, participants gain hands-on experience with the actual systems used in real deployments.

Throughout the training, emphasis is placed on operational reliability, teamwork, and adaptability, ensuring participants can effectively support connectivity needs in rapidly evolving crises.

The aim of Let’s Net is to strengthen the capacity of ETC responders to deliver robust and reliable data connectivity services, which are essential for coordination and information-sharing in humanitarian emergency response operations.
