Let’s Comm is a five-day training course which is directed towards humanitarian workers, with a background in analogue VHF communications and specialized in ICT, who require expertise in the deployment of DMR Digital radio infrastructure.
This year’s edition was taking place from July 5th to July 28th in Remich and spanned over 3 weeks different groups each week. The 2 first were held in english and the 3rd week was held in french, a first for this course.
Each week 12 participants from 7 organizations and 11 countries were trained to be able to plan, deploy and maintain ETC standard telecommunications infrastructure, focusing on Digital Mobile Radio (DMR).
The training has been facilitated by a trainer team from Luxembourg and WFP FITTEST.
